Care For The Paralyzed
Improving life one person at a time
Our Mission:
Care For The Paralyzed is a forthcoming nonprofit charity we are striving to launch in 2026 that is committed to transforming the lives of paralyzed individuals. Our mission is—to care for each person as though they were the only one in the world.
Our Strategy And Methods:
We will select a paralyzed person and provide them with long-term support to the fullest extent of our available resources. We will do so through a simple, need-based criteria and an independent review for fairness. Each beneficiary will receive help in two ways simultaneously.
First, a set portion of their funds (that is, the program funds allocated for their support) will be dedicated to helping lift them out of poverty—so they can afford better housing or improved living arrangements, such as renting a safer, more accessible home—and to provide extra spending money for some hobbies, dreams or other improvements in their life.
Second, we will set aside money for building up their Stem Cell Treatment Fund—a reserve dedicated to future, medically approved care as it becomes safe, lawful, and available.
We believe the resources given to us are not our own but God's. With gratitude and reverence, we strive to use them wisely and faithfully for the people we serve. While our exact financial allocations may vary over time and are not legally binding commitments, our guiding principle is clear: our goal is to ensure that nearly all available funds directly support the paralyzed individuals we serve. We do not intend to pay salaries to executives or a CEO, and administrative costs will be kept to the bare minimum—limited primarily to essential legal and accounting expenses for compliance. Every effort will be made to direct resources toward those in need, in keeping with both our mission and conscience.
Many large charities allocate substantial amounts to executive compensation—sometimes rivaling corporate-level salaries—which can reduce the share of donations reaching those they serve. By contrast, we aspire to a model of minimal overhead and maximum impact. (According to recent data, it appears median nonprofit executive compensation is over six figures.) We understand that every organization operates differently and that many choose to compensate their leadership—everyone has to eat. Still, our guiding rule is clear: our board members, executives, and committee members do not accept money for the work we do with Care For The Paralyzed.
Our Hope:
We are encouraged by the tremendous progress in peer-reviewed phase I clinical trials using stem cells to regenerate damaged spinal cord nerves—restoring movement to legs and, in some cases, even enabling assisted walking. We make no promises or medical guarantees, and we never promote unapproved treatments. Yet we remain hopeful that sometime after 2030, this naturally regenerative therapy may be safely and lawfully available to the public, Lord willing. If and when that day comes, we’ll be ready to help our people connect with licensed providers and approved care options.
